Senior Mechanical Engineer
Candidate will interface with project team members, vendors, contractors, and clients to achieve the project design. Candidate must display strong leadership skills. Experience in generating P&ID’s and the selection of piping systems is also required. Writing and execution of subcontracts is also a plus.
This position is located in Champaign, IL.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will be responsible for generating specifications for process vessels and equipment, heat exchangers, boilers and steam systems, and centrifugal pumps. In addition, development of technical evaluations for this equipment will be required. The senior engineer will manage projects from conception through construction, act as a client liaison, and collaborate with and train team members.
Requirements:
ITG is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 8 years of experience. Minimum BSME required. Professional registration is preferred. Management or project lead experience is a plus. Qualifications include strong communication and interpersonal skills, and an above average ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Some marketing experience and/or the desire to perform some marketing tasks is preferred. Chemical or bio-refining experience is preferred but not required.
